HEIGHTS OF OLYMPUS: AN ORIGINAL OUTDOOR THEATRE EXPERIENCE
This fall, we’re thrilled to present an original work written especially for Impact Youth Theatre and directed by Jonah Shelton.
Take a guided journey through Olmos Basin Park as you experience five immersive scenes, each highlighting a different Greek god. From the forge of Hephaestus to the moonlit realm of Artemis, and the throne room of Hera, you’ll explore the world of Greek mythology in a unique and unforgettable way — all beneath the trees.
Auditions: Open to students 9th through 12th grade.
In-person auditions will be on Tuesday, August 12th starting at 5:30 pm at Olmos Basin Park (Please sign up so we know you’re coming below)
If you are unable to attend in-person auditions, please send in a virtual audition by Tuesdsay, August 12th, 2025 by 4:30 PM

Registration: Due August 19th (first day of rehearsal). Once casting is announced, cast members will receive registration instructions via email and may begin registering online.
Cost: $350.00 due at the first rehearsal. (Cost includes the price of a show shirt and our Annual Gala ticket for 2 people)
Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 PM beginning August 19th.
Additional rehearsals include: full dress rehearsals five (8) week days leading up to the production as outlined on the calendar below.
*We have closed rehearsals to allow students to focus and practice in the best environment.
Performances: will be two weekends. November 13th thru 15th @ 6pm and November 20th -22nd(Thursday - Saturday)
Additional Valuable Information: Each student is expected to provide costumes and props for their casted character which proves to be a fun and exciting part of the production. We encourage thrifting and have an in-house seamstress to help with costume alterations. There are 2 parent meetings during the rehearsal schedule to discuss costumes, props and craft days.
