Wendy Andrews
CHOREOGRAPHER
Wendy Andrews has been teaching and choreographing in San Antonio for over a decade and has been dancing pretty much since she could walk. She is currently an instructor at Dance Infinity SA (DISA), teaching all ages, from toddlers to adults. She has been blessed to be a part of the DISA family for four years now. She has been formally trained in multiple styles, including hip hop, jazz, modern and Hawaiian and has taught everything from two year old tap to adult fitness classes. Wendy has a passion for music, movement and all things dance. She loves teaching and instilling the love of dance into munchkins of all ages.
Ruthie Buescher
GUEST DIRECTOR
Trained in devised theater methods, Ruthie Buescher is a theater director and creator who relies heavily on her English literature background in her work. She has worked in theater education with all levels, from Pre-K to adult.
She received a B.A. in English literature from Wheaton College in Illinois, where she was a member of Arena Theater's "Workout" ensemble. After working for Pittsburgh Public Theater in their education department, Ruthie earned an M.A. in educational theatre from NYU Steinhardt, with an emphasis on directing and devising for colleges and communities.
She spent time working as a teaching artist in NYC before moving to Boston, where she worked with Company One Theatre. While there she also founded the theater program at Roxbury Preparatory Charter School, Dorchester Campus.
Ruthie has recently shifted her focus to include playwriting, and she spent 2019 and 2020 pursuing a series of artist residencies that enabled her to dedicate more time to her own written work. Now settled in San Antonio, she is excited to bring devised theater methods to the people who make this city their home, and to empower them to share their own stories!
Chrizney Roth
Improv Teaching Artist
Chrizney Roth is a Film/TV and Theatre actress now based in Texas. She received her BFA in Acting from Pace Performing Arts in New York City. Her recent credits include; Primal Instinct {Investigation Discovery Network}, Evil Lives Here {Investigation Discovery Network}, Where You Eat {The Wild Project}, and many more.
